Help Celebrate Nicole’s Beautiful Life

Nicole was a beautiful 11 year old who was taken way too soon. She made every day brighter and everyone who had the privilege to get to know Nicole knows she had the prettiest smile and laughter. She dreamed of becoming a Chef, possibly a Border Patrol Agent and of course a Buchona. She loved the color purple and blue and absolutely hated pink! Her favorite foods were Buldak Noodles with ALL the sauce, sushi, salads and beef jerky.
On Saturday March 8th Nicole was admitted to the hospital for neck pain and no neck movement, moments later she became unresponsive. She was rushed to Radys Children's Hospital where after a lot of testing she was diagnosed with a bacterial infection called Streptococcus Meningitis.
This bacteria is common and children as well as adults contract it but they are able to fight it off, it typically looks like a cold or a flu. Nicole’s immune system was low when she got the bacteria which caused it to travel to her bloodstream which then infected her brain.
Things got really bad really fast, her brain got severely swollen and there was irreversible damage caused to her little brain. This happened in a matter of hours.
She was medically diagnosed brain dead on March 11th at 12:41pm.
We are still extremely faithful and hopeful Nicole will wake up by the grace of God and he will give her the strength she needs. God has done miracles before and we know he can do it again, she will be a testimony and will tell many how our God helped her overcome all odds. Please keep her in your prayers.
Nicole had a beautiful soul and loved helping others, we know she is happy and not hurting. If God needed Nicole by his side we know it's because she has the biggest heart anyone could ever have and he needed his angel back.
We have made the selfless decision to have Nicole become a part of the Lifeshare family which means she will be helping save the lives of 6-7 other children/people. We know she would’ve been more than happy to help others.
We are currently awaiting more test results to be finished so we can have a set date and time to celebrate her life.
Please help us by allowing us to give her the funeral and celebration she deserves as she will be dearly missed by her mom (Jessica), her dad (Armando), her 6 other siblings (Nadia, Lezly, Edward, her youngest sibling Vicky, Paola and Jaime) as well as we grandparents (Marina and Jesus) and her cousins and uncles (Mirna, Eduardo, Gael, Andres, and Ernesto)
Thank you. Once we have a set date and time we will let everyone who wishes to attend her services know.
God bless you all.
