Honoring Michael Stroud: A Magical Tribute

Beloved magician, author, and creator Michael Stroud/Majinga will forever be remembered among his friends, family, and fans. Join us for a memorial service followed by "Pure Imagination: The Magic and Beauty of Michael Stroud", a biopic performance of the life of Michael Stroud.

Michael Stroud - an extraordinary man, amazing magician and epic Japanese toy collector. His mama says he was born to be a performer, and indeed he pursued a career as a magician and performed for 45 years! He was the creative genius behind Magic Mike's Funhouse, The Magique Bazaar and Quazar and Nebula, as well as a respected performer of Bian Lian - the art of "changing face" from China. He won a dozen awards for his magic and performed extensively throughout the Bay Area, West Coast and around the world. You may have seen him on Romper Room, Cartoon Classics, Bill Moyers, America's Got Talent or SF Oddities, or you may have read one of 9 books he contributed to - most likely the Book of Magic by Klutz Press that sold over 2 million copies and started the journey of magic for many magicians today.
