Help Memorialize Thouch Tep's Life

On behalf of the whole family, we are asking for your support in honoring the life of our beloved grandmother, Thouch Tep.

Our grandmother, Thouch Tep, passed away peacefully on December 30th, 2024, at the age of 90, surrounded by her family.

She was a loving mother and grandmother who lived through great hardship. Before the Khmer Rouge regime, she ran a small shop in Cambodia, providing for her two sons and daughter. Her determination helped her family succeed here in this country.

In 1982, after enduring the horrors of the genocide, Thouch Tep made the brave decision to escape Cambodia, risking everything to give her children a chance at a better life. She successfully made her way to America with her two sons, where they rebuilt their lives from the ground up. Her courage and perseverance in the face of adversity remain an inspiration to all who knew her.

Throughout her life, Thouch Tep was known for her kindness, generosity, and deep love for her family. She was a guiding force in the lives of her children, and grandchildren, always offering wisdom and comfort.

One of our favorite memories with her was on Halloween in 2022. We had ran out of candy, so our grandma, through the kindness of her heart, came out and gave money to kids who stopped by. We all laugh and enjoy those moments together.

Her wake will be held on January 3rd, 2025, followed by her funeral on January 4th, 2025.
