Help Celebrate Yolanda "Yogi" Allen's Life and Legacy

It is with extremely heavy hearts that we organize this Gofundme for the life celebration of Yolanda "Yogi" Allen. After fighting for a week on life support, her soul was called home, reuniting her with her beloved late mother. She leaves behind 3 daughters, Iyana, Hadiya, and Zariya, and bonus daughter Laron. She also leaves behind her husband of over 33 years, A'Ron Allen to mourn his life partner. In addition, as the Director and Owner of Great Expectation Early Learning Place, she leaves behind her bonus children and families that she has nurtured and cared for over the years.

Her infectious energy, soul, and smile touched nearly everyone she came in contact with. Her passing was sudden, and came as a huge shock to her family. After falling victim to a violent robbery in April of 2023, she has spent the last year recovering from the unthinkable emotional trauma, as well as a broken shoulder. Though she was able to recover few items, all of her bank cards, including the one connected to her life insurance had to be canceled. This lapse in automatic payment, caused her policy to be voided. By donating to her home going service, we are hoping to ease any financial burden that the medical bills and service planning could have on her family as they grieve the loss of their mother, wife, and dear friend.
