Help Celebrates Aja’s Life and Memorial

Hi, my name is Ayonna Simmons. I’m writing this message on behalf of my family. My little sister, Aja has passed away on May 29th, 2024 due to being a pedestrian in a car accident in Orlando, FL. A celebration trip for Aja’s 17 birthday turned into a nightmare. This accident lead her to a catastrophic brain injury leading her to be declared brain dead. Once she is confirmed brain dead the state legally pronounced her dead by law, in other words, meaning Aja faced an irreversible injury. Aja faced other injuries that were believed to heal over time including a fractured jaw bone, a punctured kidney and a bruised lung. This traumatic experience has scarred our family and friends deeply. Aja was an important key in everyone’s life that she entered. Aja was a sweet, smart and hilarious girl who just turned 17 on May 21st and was set out to graduate high school next year. Aja had a hair business and a baking business that was bound to accelerate throughout her life. Aja fought as hard as she could but God was ready for his angel to come home. We are greatly hurt by this and would appreciate any donations to go towards her funeral arrangements and celebration of life. Thank you.
