Help C’est La Vie Bakery
Donation protected
This GoFundMe page is being set up to help our sister, Jane Vitart, our brother-in-law, Joel Vitart and their business/home in New Hope, PA. An Act of God has hit C’est La Vie Bakery in New Hope, PA once again! The enormous amount of rain that has hit eastern PA in the last few weeks has caused the retaining wall, holding up the property, to collapse into the Delaware River. This is the 4th natural disaster to hit C’est La Vie in the last 14 years. Three previous floods caused extensive damage in the past years. Please consider helping out, as home and flood insurance does not cover this type of disaster. The cost for cleaning up the cement, bricks, and debris that has fallen into the Delaware River, the engineer and the building of a new retaining wall is estimated to be $200,000. We are hoping to help the Vitart’s out with 50% of the costs. Every donation will be directly used to help pay for the engineer’s and contractor’s bill. Our extended family appreciates your kindness in helping out our sister, her family, their bakery business and their attached home.
