Help Chad and Rosie Gorn Through This Terrible Time

Philadelphia Theater lost a pillar of its community when Carrie Gorn passed away in her sleep on 1/29/25 at the age of 49. Those of us who knew Carrie knew her as many things: a tenacious publicist; an enthusiastic supporter of the arts; a passionate advocate for social justice; a kind, generous and steadfast friend; and the ultimate theater mom for her 17-year-old daughter Rosie. She was the consummate connector and a perpetual cheerleader. The world is darker for her loss.

You could probably feel Carrie's love for Rosie and her husband, Chad, from space. Her devotion to family knew no bounds, and she was the fiercest mama bear you ever met, willing to do anything and everything for her child.

Carrie's friends have created this GoFundMe to assist Chad and Rosie with the medical bills incurred by Carrie's final illness, as they weather this unbearable loss. Any remaining funds will go directly into a 529 account to help with Rosie's educational expenses in the coming years.
