My name is Chad Cooper I am a band member of psychedelic rock band Sunburned Hand of the Man, between band tours i lived in a cave in arizona and hosted a radio show called Magnetic Expansion Radio. there i interviewed a lot of Native Americans about various topics. a decade ago my family and I moved to Hilo Hawaii along with my art supplies, music gear, radio show hosting equipment . after I began learning more about the island I am on, I began hand carving logos for various reasons . thanks for making it this far.
below the video is from CBS evening News and it's showing a beach here on the Big Island getting covered with waves of plastic.
I visited Kamilo Beach and was shocked by by that and made this logo. to inform everyone of how plastic gets to become an island of garbage in the ocean in the first place.
Everyone wants to come to Hawaii to buy a ukulele. so the second logo was designed by my son and I and meant to put on ukulele straps that we design from recycled materials.
After learning how many things are imported and how few things are actually recycled on the big island, I decided to make Jar openers from recycled bicycle inner tubes. so please don't don't toss your bike tubes in the garbage look at the jar openers how the jar opener works
Funds are for move in fee,s since everything required to complete these missions and all ready to go, except first /last /security deposit for a multi purpose studio for making ukulele straps/ making jar openers/hosting new radio shows/ located in Hilo, Hawaii.
