Chad Kelley emergency medical expenses

Donation protected
On Thursday, December 21, 2023, Chad was making dinner when he felt a sharp pain in his head. He was able to make it to Jaime to express pain and she immediately recognized signs of brain injury, initially presenting as a stroke. Jaime was able to call 911 and the paramedics had him loaded and on the way to the hospital within 10 minutes. Upon arrival and examination at the hospital it was found that Chad had suffered a ruptured cerebral aneurysm and underwent an immediate procedure to clamp off the rupture and stop the bleeding and was admitted to the ICU.

Since the original rupture, Chad has undergone a series of extensive medical procedures and tests. He is still yet to wake. He has now been transferred to a long-term care facility. Jaime, Chad's wife of 5 years, has been by Chad's side daily, taking FMLA and working part time so to be with Chad and to advocate for his care.

As one can expect with such a traumatic medical emergency, medical expenses will begin to accumulate. As friends of Jaime and Chad, we have established this fund to help offset the bills associated with Chad's continued treatment. All donations will go directly to Jaime and will be put towards Chad's care or to help Jaime offset expenses.

Any and all donations are appreciated.
