Help Save Sadie: Urgent Surgery Needed

Hello, my name is Charlene Pryor, and I am from Paradise, Texas. I am reaching out to you today with a heavy heart and a plea for help. My 12-year-old dog, Sadie, needs urgent surgery to remove cancerous tumors from her abdomen and shoulder.

About Me:

I have faced a long history of trauma, depression, anxiety, and PTSD. Sadie has been my rock and source of emotional support since I rescued her as a baby in 2012. She is a documented emotional support animal, and I cannot imagine my life without her.

Sadie's Story:

Sadie has been by my side through thick and thin, offering unconditional love and comfort. Recently, she developed tumors on her abdomen and shoulder. Despite consulting three different veterinarians, it has been challenging to find one willing to perform the surgery due to her elevated liver enzymes. Today, I found a vet that is adamant she can be saved, but he also gave me the devastating news that the tumors are cancerous and need to be removed urgently. There is a risk of the tumors rupturing, which would require emergency surgery. This is why it is such an urgent need. I don't want her to suffer.

The Need:

The surgery is estimated to cost $2,500, plus additional aftercare expenses. The veterinarian informed me that if the tumors are removed, Sadie could have a life expectancy of 5-7 more years. Without the surgery, she will certainly die. As someone who now lives alone with Sadie, the thought of losing her is unbearable.
