Thank you for taking the time to learn about this fundraiser. On Sunday, March 19th, Chinnaphan "Chin" Bell suffered cardiac arrest and by the Grace of God has been fighting her way back. Chin is a 35-year-old wife and mother of 5, including a 3 1/2-month-old little girl.
She was in the hospital on Sunday, March 12th for complications from lupus. On the 19th, when she suffered cardiac arrest as her heart stopped four times, her family was told "it doesn't look good". She was placed on life support and this new piece of their journey began.
Typically the Bell family is resilient and persevere through their challenges based on their deep faith in God, but this has put unimaginable challenges in their path.
Charles is a teacher in South Minneapolis and a minister of music at his church. Prior to being so sick, Chin was also employed at the school and raising their four boys with Charles ages 14 to 7.
We are raising funds for the countless needs, both known and unknown at this time. Those that are known as of now include childcare for the baby and expanded handicapped-accessible living facilities. We are trying to move them from their current housing to meet their new needs. They also need a vehicle that will hold their family of 7 and accommodate the potential of a wheelchair for Chin. Additionally, the four boys need after-school childcare to help them have fun, be kids, eat dinner and get their homework done while Charles focuses on working as a full-time educator to provide for their day-to-day needs and caring for Chin and his entire family. These known needs will grow with the unknown needs, as time and Chin's medical journey go on. We will continue to update you on this page.
