Help Charles Overcome Health Challenges

Original posting: Charles Westenberg has been an integral part of the Halyard Restaurant Group Team for over ten years. His work ethic has enabled him to work at all our restaurants in roles where he’s been most valued. He has been a server at Halyards, helped at Tramici, and was the opening General Manager at La Plancha. He’s one of crew members always picking up shifts, helping others, and coming in early.

Charles has been out of work for the last couple of months with knee problems including an eventual knee replacement. While recuperating from surgery and attempting to work full shifts, he experienced new symptoms leading him to visit new doctors. He is awaiting new test results that will determine one of two outcomes and neither are good. He’s accumulated over $25k in medical bills, is expecting much more over the next couple of months, and is unable to work.
