Help Charles Survive financially while he heals

Hi , My name is Charles Jernigan and I am fundraising to help keep my critical bills from getting behind While I receive Chemotherapy and heal from the stage 4 Lymphoma I was diagnosed with .

On November 09 , 2021 I started to feel terrible . It got worse progressively until on December 05, 2021 I knew something was wrong and I could not take the abdominal pain anymore . I went to the ER at Jack Hughston Hospital . They performed a CT scan and told me I was in bad shape with Cancer . They transferred me to UAB on December 07, 2021 .

After arriving at UAB they determined I was stage 4 with a large tumor on my pancreas and a large tumor on each kidney . After installing an internal bypass tube for my Bileduct , they were able to start my first round of Chemotherapy . I am about to start my fourth round on 02/16/2022 . They expect a full recovery but ordered me not to do any type of work for 1 year . Chemotherapy tears your immune system down and exposure to even common everyday germs is dangerous . I have applied for Social Security and they say they are not going to make a determination until May 2022 .

I need to maintain my Power and Water service in the mean time . I also have to do a lot of driving to Birmingham for treatment and drive twice a week to Opelika for Labwork and Transfusions if my blood counts get to low , consequently I have to keep up with my truck payments and insurance so I have a way there . I have to maintain my cellphone service so the Hospital can contact me as needed and so I can contact them in case of a medical emergency .

I am just trying to survive financially while I survive physically .
