Help Charlie after his Hit and Run incident

On Sunday September 29th at 11:30 pm I was involved in a hit and run on Georgia Avenue. I was riding along Harvard St. NW on my way home from work when I was met in the middle of the intersection by a red SUV that was running the light. After waking up in the panic all I could hear was "he's still driving" and "he's running away"! At that point all I could do was try and wiggle my toes to know that there was nothing too serious/I wasn’t paralyzed. I was drifting in and out of consciousness. After coming to at the hospital I noticed my rent money, which was in my right pocket, was gone. $800 cash that I was transporting back home to pay rent just gone. Terrible insult to injury. I don't like asking for money and wish I wasn't at this point, but I'm stretched thin right now and in bad shape. Anything you’re able to give is such a blessing to me, all funds will go to paying for rent while I’m unable to work, medical bills, and any essentials to help me get back on my feet and through physical therapy.
