Help Charlotte and Family in NICU Journey

Starting this GoFundMe for my sister and brother in law as they are stuck in South Carolina for a few weeks as Little Miss Charlotte decided she was ready to come into this world 8 weeks early! They will be out of work for a little bit and we’re trying to ease the burden of finances for them! Anything helps! Listed below is a post from my sister! ❤️

Well, this past weekend took quite a turn of events. We left for North Myrtle Beach on Saturday morning for Charity's birthday weekend. It quickly turned into hers and her sister's birthday weekend.

Sunday morning, my water ruptured due to severe pre-eclampsia setting in. It all came on very quickly. I am so thankful for Allie Beaumier Russell for helping to make sure Charity had the best birthday while her daddy and I went to the hospital. I was quickly checked to confirm what they thought was going on was happening. I got a nice little lights and sirens transfer to Grand Strand Regional Medical Center here in Myrtle beach, and was admitted to labor and delivery. My blood pressure was really high so they worked on trying to get it under control and went ahead started a steroid shot to get Charlotte's lungs developing for the inevitable. We were able to keep me stable for 48 hours to let the steroids do their job and then we were gonna start the induction to deliver her at 32 weeks. They did an ultrasound before starting my meds and she had actually flipped back around and was breech. So things shifted again, and we had to prepare for an immediate c-section. Justin Rone and I were both pretty scared, but we have had the most amazing team around us this whole time.

Little Miss Charlotte Ann Rone came into this world on April 8th, 2025 at 2:50pm. Weighing 3 lbs 10 oz and measuring 17 inches long. The steroids did they're job because our fierce girl has been breathing on her own and fighting like the strong girl we all knew she would be.

I still have a day or so in the hospital before I get discharged, but we will have to stay here for a couple of weeks at least while out girl grows and builds some strength in the NICU.

This is definitely not what we had planned and things are gonna be really tricky, but thankfully we have an amazing support system/village. For them I am forever in debt and grateful for.
