Help Charlotte Rebuild After Hurricane Helene
Donation protected
This GoFundMe is created by Nani Baran and Janet Tuck who are friends and colleagues of Charlotte Westbrook.
On September 26, 2024, hurricane Helene swept through western North Carolina, leaving a path of destruction and loss. The Swannanoa River Valley, where Charlotte lives, was hit particularly hard, with raging waters and falling trees destroying homes and roadways.
Charlotte's home in Swannanoa was severely damaged by hurricane Helene. A large oak tree fell onto her house, tore a gaping hole in the roof, and destroyed her car. She nearly lost her life as she and her dog Lucky ran from their home.
Charlotte is safe, but does not know when she can return home. She is resilient, and, she needs help.
While she and Lucky have secure housing with a friend for the time being, it will be months of recovery for Charlotte, including loss of income. She is a highly skilled cranial sacral practitioner and healer who had been working out of her home office,
While she is hoping much of the repairs to her home will be covered by insurance, she needs to cover immediate repairs to mitigate the damage out of pocket.
We have the opportunity to come together on Charlotte's behalf. We can donate funds to enable her to rebuild her life and heal from these traumatic losses and create a net of support for her as she begins the long process of healing.
