Help Chase and the Furball Cats Rebuild After a Tragic Fire

Hi everyone, Chase Holiday here from Furball Fables. On January 7, 2025, the Furball cats and I experienced an unimaginable loss when our home in Pacific Palisades, CA was completely destroyed by a devastating fire. We lived in a lovely mobile home park by the ocean, which, along with the entire park and much of the town I’ve called home for 33 years, was reduced to ashes.

While we are incredibly grateful to have escaped with our lives, a few personal items, and some cat food, we’ve lost everything else — including the essential supplies I rely on for my Etsy shop, like my computer, hard drives, and printer. As a content creator, I also need to replace my video camera, tripod, and software to continue creating and sharing content.

I have been in touch with all my cat sitting clients and they all have lost their homes also which means I have lost my main source of income. In addition all my Etsy supplies and products were also destroyed.

I’m humbly asking for help to replace basic necessities for myself and the cats and to begin rebuilding what was lost. We’ve been offered temporary shelter, and now it’s time to start figuring out how to move forward.
