Help Chef Chris Heal After Devastating Fall

Dear Friends, Family, and Supporters,

On behalf of my brother, Christopher Douglas Moore, our family humbly asks for your help as he begins his journey to recover from a devastating accident. We are looking for help to pay the overwhelming medical bills he has continued to incur since Saturday, November 23, 2024, in Lake Tahoe, NV. There is no end in sight for the foreseeable future.

Chris suffered a catastrophic fall down a staircase, breaking his neck and shattering his back. He was airlifted to Reno, where he underwent emergency surgery, and he remains in the ICU, unable to feel his upper or lower body. Paralyzed.

Throughout his life, Chris has poured his heart and soul into everything he does. As a talented chef, he has touched countless lives by crafting meals with care and creativity. His humor and compassion have made him unforgettable to everyone lucky enough to know him. Beyond the kitchen, he shared his passion for skiing by teaching with patience, joy, and endless encouragement, always lifting the spirits of those around him.

Chris now faces a long and uncertain road to recovery, filled with challenges we can only imagine. If we can help alleviate his financial burden, it will allow him to focus entirely on healing and reclaiming his mobility.
