Help Cherisse Lavoie Kick Cancer to the Curb!

Some of you may know Cherisse Lavoie as the cheerful, cheese pun telling deli manager at Save on Foods in Golden BC… but she is so much more than this! She is a wife, a mom, a daughter, a soon-to-be grandma, an aunt, a cousin, a niece, a daughter-in-law, a sister -in-law, a friend. Cherisse makes the world a brighter place with her smile and positive attitude!

On November 15, 2022, Cherisse was given the very unfortunate news that she has Ovarian cancer and will soon have to embark on a journey of kicking cancers ass to the curb! Cherisse is currently waiting to hear from the oncologist on what her treatment plan will be. We do not have a lot of details at the moment but we will update as we can.

I am reaching out to you- family, friends and community members to please help Cherisse and Curtis ease some of the financial burden they are about to face. Not only will Cherisse be unable to work, Curtis too will have to miss work as he travels to be with his wife for her medical treatments. On top of their regular bills, food, and mortgage, they will also have the extra cost of traveling, accommodations, parking, and meals during treatment. Let’s help them ease some stress by not having to worry about these extra expenses.
