Help Chester get the surgery he needs

Hey everyone, I started this fundraiser in hopes to help my cat Chester get the surgery he needs. During the early morning hours of 9/18/23 Chester broke both of his leg bones. We are unsure of how it happened, but we just want our baby to feel better. As soon as we noticed, we rushed him to the emergency vet hospital. After a sleepless night, we received a call from the surgeon, he said that he strongly recommends that he gets surgery. In order to have the surgery done, we would need to pay about $3,000 upfront. Due to recent financial struggles that my husband and I have went through, we were not prepared for something like this to happen. For those of you that don’t know mine and Chester’s story, he has saved my life. My friend and his father help to rescue stray kittens in their neighborhood. My friend and Chester found each other when he was a little kitten. My friend fed him and provided for him until he was more domesticated. The timing was perfect as I was looking for a furry companion to love when I first lived by myself. I have had Chester since he was about 6 months old, and we have been through so much together. He is the first animal that I have had by myself, he is like a child to me. If you are able to help, it would be greatly appreciated.
