Help Cheyenne Fight for Her Life

My name is Cathryn. I am creating this GoFundMe to try and help our family.

My daughter Cheyenne was admitted to the hospital on March 13 after being life-flighted from our local hospital. She went into septic shock and crashed (2 weeks after surgery to get a colostomy).

She has been inpatient fighting for her life for 32 days. Each time she seems to make some progress towards getting better, the infection rears its head and we have to basically start all over.

They did emergency surgery within 15 minutes of her arriving on the helicopter. Then a second surgery 2 days later, in which they had to remove a large portion of her stomach, her gallbladder, a part of her liver, and try to clean out the infection.

Now she has an infection built up on her liver that they are draining, and a hole in the stomach repair that is leaking.

We have 4 other children at home, so my husband has been trying to keep up with them and the household while I am at the hospital with Cheyenne.

Neither my husband nor I have been able to work because of this crisis. We both work as caregivers for Cheyenne as our primary income, and I work as an engineer on a part-time basis. Yet I can't do either from the hospital.

Cheyenne spent her 18th birthday having more fluid and infection drained from her abdomen.

As a family, we are financially drowning with no end in sight. So I am asking, actually I am begging, for help.
