Help Cheyenne say goodbye to her Soulmate

It's with a great sadness and a heavy heart that we have to share the unexpected passing of Kasen Porter. He passed away at 30 years old in his sleep next to his wife Cheyenne and his 2 little boys on Saturday December 24th 2022 Christmas Eve.

Their little family had recently relocated to Iowa earlier this year to strive for better life and to get a fresh new start to complete their goals and dreams that they had set together but unfortunately God had called him home much sooner than ever imagined. Nothing was more important to Kasen than Cheyenne and his children, that's all he would talk about. All of his time and efforts were put into making them feel happy, secure and safe. Without him here, there's just a big hole that could never be filled for his heart was too big and too pure for this world.

With all the emotional pain and stress that sudden loss brings, it can also bring financial burdens. Kasen's wish was to be laid to rest next to his grandfather in Escalante, Utah. I would like to raise money on behalf of Cheyenne and the boys to be able to attend his funeral to say their final goodbyes in person as well as relieve some financial stress off of Cheyenne so she can put all of her focus into her boys. With your help, we can help Cheyenne say goodbye to her soul mate and the boys say goodbye to their Dad one last time to bring some closure for the entire situation cause the boys are too young to fully understand at the moment.

The money is going to be used towards getting a rent a car to get from Iowa to Utah and back (a 6 day trip), gas, hotel for one night and whatever is left over will be used for Cheyenne and the boys.

Losing a loved one is always difficult, but coping with a sudden loss add a greater pain to the grieving process. There was no time to prepare making coping with the death become all the more pronounced. But it is in times of sadness and loss when people can come together to help one another make it through.
