Help Chijioke chase his dreams in London! (Study Abroad)

Hello! I’m Chijioke Oparaji, a Bachelor of Music: Music Theatre major at Florida State University. Being a Florida State Theatre Major, I have been able to continue my goals in performance, participating in many productions that have grown my love of theatre and yearning to learn more from different outlets. Ever since I first stepped on stage, l've dreamed of training and performing around the world and in London's renowned theater scene. Thanks to the help of my advisors and teachers here in Florida, I have proudly been accepted into the prestigious FSU Study Abroad intensive program in London for this upcoming fall term 2025 —an opportunity to learn from West End professionals, attend exclusive masterclasses, and immerse myself in the heart of musical theatre.

As many of my peers and faculty know, I have spent a lot of time in college working multiple jobs just to even attend Florida state and as a result I have saved a bit but it still isn’t enough. Which is why I’m reaching out to you for help; I would be overflowed with gratitude if my friends, family, and faculty would contribute to my studies. The total cost of tuition, housing, and travel is over $18,000, and with your help to alleviate the costs, I will be able to accomplish a dream I have had from the very beginning.

Attending this program will:

- Offer backstage access to West End productions and Shakespeare’s Globe
