Help children at Peace Camp regain childhood

Hello, my name is Catarina, I live in Portugal and I´m creating this GoFundMe on behalf of my friend Amal Salima (please follow her account on instagram - @amal.salima23).
Amal has been living through an ongoing genocide for almost 1 year. With relentless non stop bombing, starvation, pollution looming in a once clean environment, new eradicated diseases arising everyday...
After multiple harsh displacements, Amal, her little boy Kenan and the rest of their family are currently living in a refugee camp, named Peace Camp, located at Al Mawasi, Khan Younis.
This camp is full of children of all ages that had to leave their dreams and comfort behind. They lost everything after leaving a home that is now dust.
With the children´s smile and future in mind, Amal started a project called TOGETHER (Maa baad - مع بعض - It´s the translation of the word together in Arabic).

This projects aims to:
- Give the children education, supplying them with all school material necessary, such as pencils, pens, notebooks, school bags, books...;
- Make sure no child has to go through life threatening hunger, giving everyone food (that is allowed in, Israel let’s very little in as we know), even occasional sugary treats when possible, something every child needs and deserves.
- Provide Toys, so kids can focus, even if only for a few minutes, on having fun and not on the bombing happening next door.
- Pay the educators and entertainers a steady salary. As you surely know, Gaza´s economy has fully collapsed. However, with your meaningful contributions, the people involved in this project may be able to get income and feed their own families, as well as save up to evacuate when the borders reopen.
Amal always shares with me and on social media how the money is being used. The children´s smiles and giggles are worth it all.
But don´t just take my word for it, let the children speak for themselves, they have a voice too, one we must hear and uplift. Please check out bellow an interview Amal made to the kids at the camp, asking what they wanted and needed:

Below I´ll share some pictures of the first day of school that was organised, as well well as pictures from the activities made to entertain the children. This is what the funds will be directed towards. The money will be sent to my bank account and then immediately sent to Amal´s own bank account via a money transfer service - moneygram.
