Help Children Who Mine Cobalt In DR Congo
Donation protected
Alongside a research and advocacy programme, to better inform policy makers and corporate leaders about the tragic conditions of up to 40,000 child cobalt miners in DRC, we in the final planning stages of a first event in DRC that is going to help 100 of the children. We are planning for them each to receive a brand new pair of shoes, nutritious meals and lots of fun activities. Thanks so much to everyone who has supported us so far. Please share our fundraiser - we so need to get the word out there about what is happening.
Thank you for your partnership and support.

We are 2 ordinary guys, Carl and Mark
When we learned that children were mining cobalt in the DRC, and that the cobalt they mine ends up in electric cars, mobile phones and laptops, we were moved.
So, at significant personal cost and risk, we decided to visit an amateur cobalt mine in DRC in April 2024. We were horrified by what we saw and we came back with a deep commitment to act.
Delays in the UK charity application process mean it could take as long as a year to register a charity and we don't want to delay starting to help the children unnecessarily.
There is a huge amount of work to do, including returning to DRC to explore the best ways we can help and to meet with potential partners. We've already made a significant financial investment and we would be grateful for any help that you can give us.
Our consciences are stained by the minerals that make our digital lives work. Please help us to help the children. Thank you.
