HELP CHIOMA FIGHT KIDNEY FAILURE

Hi everyone!

Thank you for making your way to our page to support Chioma Christiana Ekeledo in this critical time of her life. My name is Ukonu Oji, and I am organizing this GoFundMe on behalf of Mrs. Chioma Ekeledo's (Nee Onumadu) family and friends.

She started feeling ill with symptoms related to kidney infection. Her condition worsened, which progressed quickly to her legs getting swollen. She was evaluated by her doctor and was diagnosed with a kidney infection in 2019. Mrs. Chioma commenced treatment immediately following the diagnosis. She was doing well with the treatment until May 2022, when she relapsed and was placed on dialysis.

Mrs. Chioma undergoes multiple dialysis weekly since May 2022 with minimal improvement. After further evaluation, her doctor recommended a kidney transplant to prolong her life.

Life has not been easy since this problem started. It is becoming difficult for her and her family to carry this burden alone. Please, we are reaching out to everyone to help us financially to continue with the routine dialysis and for kidney transplant. This kidney transplant is scheduled in September 2022. The estimated cost for the kidney transplant is $25,000.

Chioma is a promising young wife with five children. She spent her life helping others before she became ill. With your help and generosity, she will beat this and bounce back to life again.
