Help CHiPS get a new mural!
Tax deductible
Arts Gowanus is raising money to help fund a new mural for beloved neighborhood nonprofit CHiPS. Recently, CHiPS lost their iconic mural on 4th Ave, and we want to pay a team of artists to imagine and paint a new one! We'll be releasing an open call for proposals once we've funded the project.
Since 1971, CHiPS (Community Help in Park Slope, Inc.) has been a community of Brooklyn neighbors, volunteers, and friends who share a common vision to help encourage and support those often forgotten. In our Food Pantry and Soup Kitchen we prepare hot, nutritious meals for 150 hungry New Yorkers daily. In our Frances Residence we provide shelter for single mothers and their infants as well as pre-and post-natal care. Our model drives awareness and access to nutritious foods while cultivating resilience and equity through our free-of-charge food distribution program and housing.
