Help Chirino Family recover after a terrible car accident

Hi, I'm Abel Chirino. I was at home when I got a call I'll never forget. My wife, Ruth Santana, called me to tell me she had just been in a terrible car accident. I could hear from her voice that it was bad. I dropped everything and ran to the scene of the accident. As you may see from the pictures, it was a serious car accident. It is a miracle that Ruth survived!

She was driving home, when another driver ran a red light at high speed. His SUV struck ours head on. An angel was protecting Ruth that day. I thank God for that. Ruth was completely devastated. Not only was she physically in pain, but this is our only vehicle. How will we get to work? How will we take our daughters to school? How can we get another vehicle? How can we pay for medical bills? What makes this worse is that the other driver did not have car insurance. We only had liability coverage as that was all that we could afford. It was at that point, at our worst moment, that we realized that we needed help from our community.

Ruth is experiencing a great deal of pain. We do not know the extent of her injuries. She will need physical therapy to deal with the leg, chest, neck and back pain she's experiencing. The SUV, which we believe is the only reason why she is still alive, was completely totaled. Ruth and I used it to drop our girls off at school, she would then drop me off at work, and then she would head to her job, only for her to do the same at the end of the day. Without a reliable vehicle, we run the risk of losing our jobs. This car accident could not have come at a worst time. There's absolutely no way for us to pay for Ruth's future medical bills, or to get another vehicle. This is why we're asking for your help.

We have 4 young daughters. We need to get a vehicle that is large enough to fit 2 adults and 4 children. The safest vehicle for that is one with 3 rows of seats. We will also need help to pay for Ruth's medical bills. We had been working really hard to get ahead this year. Ruth has a fulltime job. I have a fulltime job and I'm taking college courses. I recently received a Project Management Certificate. What this accident is costing us, in terms of health and finances, will completely devastate us. We will use the funds to pay for Ruth's medical bills and get a vehicle. We have started this Go Fund Me account to help us get back on our feet.
