Help Chloe Purchase a Bassoon for Her Future

Hello, my name is Chloe Robertson. I play the bassoon for my school, and have decided to continue playing this instrument for my future career. I have been given an opportunity to purchase a used bassoon for $6,000, which is a really good deal since these types of bassoons usually cost over $10,000. In the future, my goal is to play in a professional orchestra, while maybe teaching on the side. I am currently using my school's bassoon, but it is beyond repair. It makes very loud clicking noises, has many issues with leaking, and some of the keys are broken. Here are my videos playing the bassoon, and even in the last video you can hear how loud the noises are when I press down on the keys. This year, my goal is to audition for the Maryland All State Junior Band, MTNA Young Artist Competitions, NYO2, and two local competitions. I will be preparing for the ‘Pershing’s Own’ Young Artist Competition as well. I have won three local competitions, but these upcoming events are more challenging and prestigious.
