Help Chris Rebuild After Emergency Amputation

Dear friends and kind-hearted individuals,

Hi my name is Linda and our dear friends Marie and Christopher need our support more than ever! Many of you will know Marie as our beloved anthem singer and the most loyal of friends. Her partner Christopher is an Assistant Chief for Vancouver Fire & Rescue, serving our city with a career of 20+ years.

We are reaching out to you today with a heartfelt plea for assistance. Our dear friend Christopher and his family are currently stuck in Hong Kong due to an unexpected medical emergency. Christopher contracted necrotizing fasciitis during their family trip, which resulted in the amputation of his lower right limb.

While they are covered by travel insurance, the journey to recovery doesn't end there. Once they are finally able to return home to Vancouver, they will be faced with numerous expenses, including the purchase of a prosthetic limb and the challenges of coping with the loss of income during this difficult time.

We are starting this GoFundMe campaign to support Christopher and his family in rebuilding their lives after this traumatic experience. Your generous donations will go directly towards covering medical expenses, rehabilitation costs, and helping them adapt to the new challenges they face.
