Help Chris and Lizzy Rebuild After Hurricane Helene

Dear friends,

We are starting this fundraiser to help our friends Chris and Lizzy Gordner who lost their home, possessions, and two cars to Hurricane Helene when it tore through the Southeast including Western North Carolina where Chris and Lizzy live.

Lizzy is 35 weeks pregnant expecting her first baby. In the floodwaters they lost the nursery they had prepared for their baby and all of the supplies they had collected as well. They had planned a baby shower which will now have to be canceled due to the upheaval in the wake of the storm.

The loss of their baby preparation is just part of what is gone. As the flood waters recede, now Chris and Lizzy have to start over and could use the help and support that their community can give.
