Help Chris Bicycle 2000 Miles across the Southwest in May!

I am preparing for a 2000+ mile bike trip from Colorado Springs, Colorado to Phoenix, AZ (to surprise my Dad who I haven't seen in yeats for his birthday) and then on to Tucson, Arizona. Ultimately with a tour of the Biosphere 2 before heading back to Colorado Springs. It will be a bit over 2000 miles round-trip and an amazing adventure!!!

But in order to make it a reality, I still need to raise a bit more money, mostly to get a few more parts for building my bikepacking bike, and for lodging & food on the trip.

About me:

My name is Chris, I'm originally from the Pacific Northwest; but have been living in beautiful Colorado, up against the Rocly Mountains for about a decade now.

Over the years I have worn a lot of different hats; I worked in emergency services & rescue agencies for many years. I pretty much grew up on the mountain slopes; and was a professional alpine skin instructor for over a decade, as well as a ski patroller. I worked for REI in many states, in every department and am very much still a gear nerd!

These days, I run a couple small businesses, that while paying the bills, don't make me really any profits, so saving up for gear & going on adventures can be difficult. Which is why I'm here today asking for help. But I am still working hard, trying to raise the money myself, because to be honest, I don't think anyone is going to donate or even read this.
