Help Chris Dodman Conquer Leukemia!

My name is Marcus Purtzki and I’m the owner of Made By Marcus Ice Cream. I’ve worked closely with Chris Dodman, a kitchen manager at Wilfreds x Made By Marcus in Edmonton's Brewery District. Chris has been a rising star in the kitchen; with his hardworking attitude and genuine personality, he has made a connection with everyone at work. Recently, Chris’s life has been uprooted with the tragic news that he has been diagnosed with a form of blood cancer, Acute Lymphocytic Leukemia (ALL), common cancer among young adults. This has been a complete shock to everyone, and we are eager to do whatever we can to help support Chris and his loved ones during this stressful time.

With the next two years of continuous chemotherapy treatment, Chris has a long journey ahead of him to be cancer-free. Unfortunately, even with EI and long-term disability, this will not be enough to cover basic costs, including living expenses for the next two years. We are hoping to raise whatever we can to help provide Chris with some financial security during this stressful time. Chris has immense perseverance and dedication and we are all rooting for him! I understand that financial situations can be challenging these days, but even if it's just $2 or $5, any contribution would be greatly appreciated by Chris and his family. In addition, any kind words of support are encouraged!
