Help Chris During His Long Recovery
Donation protected
Chris, age 21 was involved in a hit and run on Sunday night (09/04/2022) around 10:30pm. He was on a usual casual ride with our friend Allisyn, going to dinner and back home. While on the way home, they passed a white car which gave them a ‘thumbs up’ , and then began to get right on their tail following. Allisyn noticed the car following dangerously close to her, got uneasy, and switched from the left to the middle lane. When the white car followed the same action, she swerved defensively to avoid the car that was too close to her, resulting in the car speeding up, swerving around another car in the middle lane and into the right hand lane quickly, as if attempting to catch up to Chris who was in the same right hand lane going the speed limit or less. As Allisyn came over the hill of the highway expecting to catch up to Chris.. she found him laying on the shoulder with other cars stopped and around him.. the white car nowhere to be seen. Many witnesses reported seeing Chris fall as the white car impacted him through the clouds of smoke, and the white car drive off.
Chris ended up losing part of his left leg below the knee, with the potential of more surgeries in the future if needed. Chris’s life will never be the same, due to the recklessness of this driver who ran away from the scene. He will need lots of rehabilitation, therapy/counseling, aid and much more, which this fund will go towards. Any amount, myself and the family will forever be grateful for.
