Help Cori Transition from Losing Chris to Cancer
Donation protected
Dear Friends, Family, and Kind-Hearted Supporters,
It is with deep sorrow and heavy hearts that we share the news of Chris's passing. Our beloved brother, husband, father, son, and friend lost his battle with stage 4 Pancreatic Adenocarcinoma. Chris fought valiantly, but his journey came to an end surrounded by love and support from his family and friends.
Chris's legacy as a dedicated family man, hardworking individual, and loving husband and father of four beautiful children will live on in our hearts. His unwavering determination, strength, and generosity touched countless lives, and his spirit will continue to inspire us.
Now, more than ever, Cori and their children need our support. As Chris was the sole financial provider, his passing has left the family in a precarious situation. We are raising funds to help Cori and the family transition during this incredibly difficult time. Your donations will go directly towards covering medical bills, daily living expenses, and helping the family adjust to their new reality without Chris.
Chris's commitment to his family allowed Cori to be a full-time mother, a role she cherishes deeply. Their children, the light of their lives, need stability and support as they navigate this loss. Our community's generosity can provide them with the security and comfort they need to heal and move forward.
Every contribution, no matter how small, will make a significant difference. Please consider donating and sharing this campaign with your network to help us reach our goal. Your kindness and support will provide immense relief to Cori and the children during this challenging time.
We are profoundly grateful for your compassion, love, and generosity. Together, we can honor Chris's memory by ensuring his family is taken care of and given the chance to rebuild their lives.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
With heartfelt gratitude,
Sara Bryant-Hart and the Support Team for Chris
Edit - Message From Chris;
Hello to all my Friends and Loved Ones!
Historically I don't post very much on social media. I also tend to be a very private person. All of that being said, I am going to be sharing update posts here so that you all can stay informed. I won't flood your feed page I promise.
As some of you know, I am battling stage 4 Pancreatic cancer. This began not too long ago and the treatment journey is just beginning. I am being treated at the Huntsman Cancer Institute in Utah and they are amazing. I feel that I am in very capable hands. This journey has many ups and downs, but I am confident in the battle and the overall positive outcome.
At this point, I have had my chemo port installed and I start my first round of treatment on Friday 11/3/2023. I am excited for the healing process to begin!
But, the main reason for this post is to share my amazing gratitude for the people in my life, both close and afar. The amount of love, support, well wishes, and financial help has touch me to my very soul. I feel absolutely overwhelmed at the complete outpouring of generosity and love being sent to me and my family. I am not typically a crier, but I find myself sobbing often with the support being shown to my family. I want to thank you all for the amazing words, gestures, and actions that we have received! I know the #blessed has been overused in social media, but I AM truly blessed!
Have a wonderful day and keep the positivity coming my way!
Original Campaign Message:
Dear Friends, Family, and Kind-Hearted Supporters,
We come to you today with heavy hearts and a plea for help. Our beloved brother, Chris, is facing the most challenging battle of his life - stage 4 cancer. His diagnosis is Pancreatic Adenocarcinoma which has metastasized to his Kidneys Adrenal Glands. Chris is a dedicated family man, a hardworking individual, and a loving husband and father of four beautiful children. We are reaching out to you, our extended community, to help him and his family through this incredibly tough time. Chris is the sole financial provider to his family and will be out of work for several months while receiving chemotherapy and surgeries to rid his body of cancer.
In the past 7 years, we have learned that all three of us siblings have a genetic disorder called Lynch Syndrome. Lynch syndrome, also known as hereditary non-polyposis colorectal cancer (HNPCC), is a hereditary genetic condition that increases an individual's susceptibility to various types of cancer, most notably colorectal cancer. In addition to colorectal cancer, Lynch syndrome is associated with an elevated risk of developing other malignancies, including endometrial cancer, ovarian cancer, gastric cancer, pancreatic cancer, and various urological and small intestine cancers. These cancers collectively represent a substantial threat to individuals with Lynch syndrome. This syndrome is a silent but potent genetic assassin, lurking within families and posing significant health risks. I had stage III and our other brother had stage IV, because of the support and care of the medical community and our friends and family, the two of us were able to fight cancer and have been cancer-free for the time being. Now Chris needs our help.
Chris has always been known for his strong work ethic. He's the kind of person who puts in long hours to provide for his family and ensure they have everything they need. Despite facing countless obstacles in life, he has persevered and never lost his determination to give his family the best life possible. This dedication to his family has given his wife, Cori, the opportunity to be a full-time Mother to her children, which is incredibly rare in this day and age.
Chris is an incredible handyman and has helped multiple people in his family and community remodel their homes at no cost, fix their cars, install their water softeners, and many other projects.
Chris's beautiful wife, Cori, has been his pillar of support throughout this journey. She has stood by his side, providing unwavering love and care. They have faced many challenges together, but their love and commitment to each other and their children have remained unshakeable.
Their four children are the light of their lives. They are bright, talented, and full of potential. Chris and Cori have always encouraged their children to pursue their dreams and have worked tirelessly to provide them with opportunities for a bright future.
However, the burden of Chris's medical bills, treatments, and other associated costs has become overwhelming. Despite his insurance coverage, the mounting expenses are stretching their finances to the breaking point. Chris should be focusing on his health and spending precious moments with his family, but the stress of financial instability is taking a toll on them all.
This is where we, as a community, can make a real difference. We are humbly requesting your support to help alleviate the financial burden on Chris and his family during this challenging time. Every donation, no matter how small, will go directly toward covering the medical bills, treatments, and other expenses due to this devastating illness.
Let us rally together as a community to ensure that Chris can focus on his recovery and that his beautiful family can continue to thrive. Your generosity and kindness will make a world of difference in their lives, and we are deeply grateful for any support you can provide.
Please share this campaign with your friends and family to help us reach our goal and provide Chris and his family with the support and love they need. Together, we can make a significant impact on their journey to beat cancer and create a brighter future for this remarkable family.
Thank you for your compassion, love, and generosity.
