Christopher Gillis lost his home...

Donation protected
Funds are going toward building Chris a new home in a different location because of the July 2023 N.S flood.
Christopher Gillis has overcome many challenges in his life, but the loss of his home, everything that was on his property (Wood pile, shed, bridge to cross the brook etc) and his belongings has been devastating. Chris has physical, hearing and speech challenges. He has stood strong and is always a bright light for the Rawdon community and for myself, having grown up here ✨️
In the middle of the night, July 21st/22nd, 2023, 250 mm of rain fell in Nova Scotia, flooding rivers and dams. As Christopher was asleep, his entire home was filled with water. He was rescued by Fire and Rescue and helped to a safe area. His home can not be repaired, and only a few things were salvageable. A new building in a new location will have to be started... so he can start over..
We are asking for help to support Chris Gillis in his fight to build his new home. ️All donations go to Chris directly to build a new house. Please consider any amount for a donation and/or Share his link ❤️ to spread the word!
