Help Chris Horsley Beat Colorectal Cancer at 35

Hello everyone,

With great sadness, our family has received deviating news. Last week, my 35- year- old husband Chris Horsley, was diagnosed with colorectal cancer. He is currently being treated at Rocky Mountain Cancer Center, where he will be receiving 4 months of chemotherapy, 6 weeks of radiation, and then chemo again. Followed by possible surgery if his tumor hasnt shrunk, which will leave him permanently disabled.

Chris is the foundation to our beautiful family. He is an absolutely amazing father and husband. Thinking about him not watching his daughter grow up is beyond Earth shattering. But if you have met Chris you know that he is the definition of positivity. He always thinks about the positive side of any situation and constantly makes jokes, even about his cancer. Chris knows that he is going to kick cancers butt and not look back.

I can remember only one time Chris has called out of work, which was when he had extream food poisoning. He probably would have gone in too, if not for the constant bathroom runs. With this fundraiser we are hoping to lessen the burden on our family since Chris was the sole bread winner. When we first heard the news my reaction was to immediately start looking for work to provide for my family's bills and Chris' medical expenses. Unfortunately, with the cost of childcare and the impossibility of Chris watching our almost 2 year old while battling the side effects of chemo and radiation, we have turned to asking for the help we will most definitely need to afford to keep our house and truck and afford Chris' medical care.

We as a family are reaching out near and far for financial help. This fundraiser is to help with medical and living expenses. Every penny will go to alleviating the financial burden of cancer. Thank you for taking the time to read his story, and your love and support.
