Hello lovely folk,

Just wanted to say a huge thank you and a wee health update.

Firstly, I have been completely overwhelmed with everyone’s kindness, generosity and support. It really has meant the world to me at such a difficult time for me. Whether this be donations, messages of support and folk coming to visit me. I have a weird sense of self sometimes where i think nobody likes me and just do folks head in so honestly my heart feels so full up right now – thank you thank you thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Thankfully was able to draw down on the funds you have so kindly donated super early and have now had surgery on both eyes. I am spending the next couple of weeks resting up and healing up.

The surgery was a success – I had cataracts in both eyes, which has now been removed new lens put in – I can already see far away super clearly – which feels like a miracle since I could really see anything in my right eye prior to surgery, after super progressed cataract, due to the emergency retinal surgery I had last October.

I was advised against having lens implants for short/medium/long as this can have a significant impact on my night vision. Once all healed up, I will need a pair of reading glasses for books and laptop. So, if you see me wearing a pair of glasses, fear not, the surgery has already been life-changing for me in terms of my every day.

Will be celebrating fully in the only way I know how – a PLU party at the end of November (30th) so hopefullies will see many of you there – literally see you in all your beauty ❤️
