If you know Chris manuel you know that he is one of the nicest guys on the planet, and he has gone above and beyond to help numerous people however he can throughout his life without ever asking for anything in return. Chris is a fun loving guy that wishes well for everyone and has a huge genuine heart.

Being a man of his era Chris has strong values and has often dealt with things alone not wanting to ask for help but in this case he needs the help so we can reduce his stress and give him a better chance at beating the pancreatic cancer so we are reaching out on social media to raise funds for Chris during this challenging time.

Chris started complaining of pain in his abdomen, back in may 2021 and after months of being in and out of the hospital and his doctors office he was finally diagnosed with Pancreatic Cancer 2.5 months ago.

Chris is now in the battle of his life fighting pancreatic cancer, in the last couple months the pain has become so excruciating that he has not been able to work at all and he will not be able to work for months to come. Chris has spent many nights in the ER due to the pain he is experiencing and we anticipate that this will continue because his body is not able to properly digest the oral pain medication and he requires the pain medication through IM injection in order to get any relief. His daughter Harmony has been accompanying him throughout the nights in the hospital and caring for him in the day while also continuing her college studies, and his son Thomas is working afternoon shifts helping any way he can too.

We have kept this news within the family while we have gone through all of the appointments to find out exactly what he is dealing with. While there is hope and it has not spread from the pancreas yet, the cancer is quite large and it is wrapped around and intertwined with some of his Major blood vessels so they can not operate and he must go through chemotherapy, this week we find out the details for his treatment schedule. If you have ever researched cancer, pancreatic cancer is one of the worst you can get and we need all the help we can find in order to give Chris the best fighting chance on this journey.

We are hoping to be able to raise enough funds to clear up any bills he’s behind on from not being able to work and to cover all of his monthly bills during the course of his treatment and recovery.

Currently a family member of ours pulled together some of our extended family and raised enough funds to also cover his first few months of naturopathic treatment and we are super grateful for having that bonus Avenue to help in his fight against cancer.

If we are able to raise more funds, not only will we be able to cover the bills we will be able to continue the naturopathic treatment along side the doctors recommended chemotherapy treatment.
