Help Chris Martin and Keica Through This Tough Time

I have seen this community do amazing things for people and let me tell you this family needs your help.

Chris Martin or “Pop Pop” is one of the most hard working, kind men I have ever met. Three weeks ago while at work, he started experiencing shortness of breath and shoulder pain. After being rushed to the ER for what they thought was a heart attack, has led to countless nights in the hospital with an unknown discharge date.

After pulling over 4000 mls of fluid out of his chest, doctors have found his left lung collapsed due to a large mass. After placing a chest tube to control the fluid, they have also have started daily radiation therapy, moved him to Kadlec Oncology, and are talking about starting chemotherapy as they are concerned of potential metastasis.

“Pop Pop” is incredibly strong, when you visit him you wouldn’t even know he is going through such a hard time. He still has his bright smile on and cracks jokes whenever he can. For those of you who know Keica, know how close “Pop pop” and her are. They still share a home together and are best friends. It has always been the two of them, and they both are trying to stay strong for each other. He was still working at Home Depot at the time to try and make ends meet. With the stress of the hospital stays Keica has been juggling work, hospital visits and keeping the house and pets in order. Neither of these two will ask for help they are both so strong but everyone needs a little help sometimes. If it’s just sharing the post, donating, helping with groceries, gas money ANYTHING helps and these two deserve it.
