Help Chris Poynter

Hope everyone is doing great during these crazy times! I've created this GoFundMe Account to help my good friend Chris Poynter during and after his medical emergency, surgeries and long recovery! Chris and his wife Sarah own and opperate the TalVista Lodge at the mouth of the Talachalitna River in Alaska. They are year round residents of the lodge 80 miles from the nearest road! They have lived and opperated there for the past twelve plus years where their host fishing trips in the summer and snowmobilers and iditarod guest's in the winter. When anyone needs a rescue whether winter or summer, Chris is always there to help. Chris and Sarah are huge supporters of Battle Dawgs, a wounded warrier project. Winter time you will also meet Chris on the fifty some miles of overland trail breaking, marking and maintaining the trail for the many local residents and recreational snowmobilers to enjoy or hauling freight for many residents or recreational cabin owners.

Chris was life flighted via helicopter to an Anchorage Hospital with serious issues. At this time, after months in the hospital with surgeries and rehabilation he will soon be home to the place he loves so much with his wife Sarah.

Missing months of work now and during the coming months will have a financial burden placed on our friend during this difficult road to recovery.

Now is the time to step up and help our friend during this difficult time!
