Please Help Chris recover from Hemorrhagic Stroke

Donation protected
Dear Friends and Kind Strangers,

My name is Clara, and I am reaching out to you today with a heavy heart and a humble request in support for someone very dear to me, as well as many others.

Five months ago, my partner Chris, suffered a life-altering hemorrhagic stroke. This was a spontaneous incident with no underlying causes found... Since then, our lives have been turned upside down as we navigate the challenges of his recovery journey.

Chris has been unable to work as he continues to fight and go through rehabilitation, therapy, and medical treatments. He is currently unable to do anything on his own physically, and has expressive aphasia (he still cannot form words to create coherent sentences.) As his primary caregiver, I've also had to put my career on hold to ensure he receives the care and attention he needs to recover fully - sadly, Chris and I do not have any family members to call upon for additional support, whether it is emotionally, physically, or financially.

The financial strain of medical bills and daily expenses has made the absence of our incomes overwhelming. Claims for unemployment have been denied due to the fact that I was laid off just a few months into a new employment opportunity - during the first month of this incident - and unfortunately, no longer qualify because of this. Like many, we never anticipated or even imagined facing such a sudden and difficult situation, but here we are, humbly asking for your help.

For those of you who do not know Chris, here is a quick blurb -
- Chris is a 36 y/o fur-dad to his Blue Nose Pitbull and two cats, Black & Tuxedo. An absolute animal lover, and ultimately someone who you can rely on; someone you can call upon when you feel as if there won't be anyone to hear you out, or help you in any way. He is the type of person to drop everything and anything in order to be there for someone who needs him. He is very independent and as tough as he tries to portray himself, he is a sensitive and caring individual who truly cares to see those around him excel, succeed, and ultimately find their happiness. He is adventurous, honest, humble, kind, and reliable. He loves to ride his motorcycle with his group of rider friends to clear his head and to feel free. He is a caring partner who strives to be the best source of security and comfort. He is the best friend I could ever have, who has never let me feel lost and has always inspired me to be a better version of myself everyday.

Your contribution, whether big or small, will make a significant difference in Chris's recovery and our ability to rebuild our lives. Every dollar donated will go towards his medical expenses, therapy sessions, and essential living costs during this challenging time.

I ask that you please consider donating and sharing our GoFundMe page with your network. Your generosity and support mean more to us than words can ever express. Together, we can make a difference in Chris's journey to recovery and help our family get back on our feet and for him to regain what is currently lost.

Thanking you all for reading and considering this post is not nearly enough, but we truly thank you all from the bottom of our hearts for your kindness, compassion, and generosity.
