Help Chris Revolutionize Air Sealing Solutions

I'm Chris and I am working on bringing an air sealing product that's going to outlast traditional methods called Airtight tape to the market!

Caulk and foam is temporary. So I created a better solution for air sealing the interior air barrier of a home or dwelling. Airtight tapes is more productive , going to last longer, and finish off way better than grandpa's old caulk or foam method. It will also help reduce waste going to the landfill.

What I did was rolled this HVAC tape with drywall paper tape to create my patented interior air sealing (air barrier) tape for these areas. Your drywall finishers are applying and finishing this product *boom* one trim/final punch-out task knocked out in production. Who doesn't love an increase in productivity? Save the headache of sending another laborer through to tackle this task!

Airtight tapes can also be used on subfloor penetrations. Some above code programs require this *cough*Energy Star *cough* In my opinion your HVAC contractor should be doing this anyways.

Airtight tapes will withstand the expansion and contraction the hvac system undergoes. Especially if the hvac trim out involves coating the inner side of the boots with mastic.

There may be potential for this to be used as fire tape as well, a lot of low to mid rise buildings have hvac shafts that run top to bottom which need fire stop at each floor penitration. Fire caulk is expensive. Fire ratings and UL testing are in Airtight Tapes near future.
