Help Chris Thurston During this Stressful Time

On October 8, 2020 dad went back to work (Muskogee EMS) after a short vacation. Around mid-morning, Dad started having pains in his side and he was eventually taken to St. Francis via ambulance. We all expected to find out he had appendicitis, but we couldn't have been more wrong. A few short hours after mom joined dad in the hospital, she made the trip home to sit all of us kids down and tell us that dad was being transferred to Tulsa due to an 11 cm mass and 5 spots on his liver, which they are almost positive is cancer and are treating it as such. Dad has supported a family of 12+ basically on his own for the past 3 years. On Monday, they will be doing a colonoscopy and Tuesday they will be removing the mass. If it is truly cancer positive, his first round of chemo will follow shortly behind.
Day in and day out, Dad supports our every dream and want. Whether it be supporting the youngers in their school events or hunting wants, to supporting us olders through school and holding our hands while we worry about our own children, Dad has always been the constant supporter in our lives. For the first time, Dad needs us now. Theres only so much us olders can do so we are reaching out. Whether you can make a financial contribution or just a prayer and a share, we love and appreciate every bit of help. We refuse to let the man who holds us together worry about anything in this scary time he's unfairly being faced with. I will update every chance I get on here.
(Any money donated will go to gas money for trips back and forth for appointments, food money, any medical needs of dads, bills while dad is out of work, cleaning supplies and supplies for the home to make sure dads environment is clean, healthy and sanitized.)
