Help Christey Reopen Elemental Pilates

Donation protected
Like many businesses, Elemental Pilates of Black Mountain suffered water damage during Hurricane Helene and was forced to close. However, I do not want to lose all the wonderful work we have been doing together!

My name is Christey Carwile and I opened Elemental Pilates over two years ago. I have been teaching Pilates and wellness through movement for over twenty years. I work with clients to feel strong and capable in their bodies no matter their age, ability, or body type and I fundamentally believe that safe and guided movement can transform lives.

I have been a native of Black Mountain for 17 years. I am also a Professor of Anthropology at Warren Wilson College and have taught at the Black Mountain Y for 17 years.

I am hoping to reopen the studio and continue seeing my beloved clients and offering group classes but need support in getting back on my feet. Many of you have asked how you can help. Please consider donating what you can to help with costs not covered by insurance and to help me open faster. Funds will be used primarily to cover rent costs and floor repairs.

Keep Elemental Pilates in Black Mountain!
