Help Christi and Nox recover from the Lapu Lapu tragedy

Hi, my name is Amanda. My good friend Christi and her son, Nox (11) were both hit and injured at the Lapu Lapu day festival. They are both still in hospital and stable, but Christi does have a significant amount of injuries including 2 fractured vertebrae, broken ribs, a punctured lung and kidney damage.

Christi had organized a breakdancing battle at the festival that my kids and I had attended in which she had put months of thought and effort into. Her smile at the event said everything, and the way the day ended is absolutely devastating.

I can’t begin to imagine what her and Nox witnessed and the physical and mental recovery that lays ahead. Christi will need to take significant time off of work, with which she helps support her family of 4.
