Help Christian Mosher with medical expenses

Donation protected
Our beloved family member Christian Mosher was diagnosed with Cerebral Cavernous Malformation 3 years ago which causes him seizures. He is 22 years old, loves to drive Subaru's, snowboard and ride BMX. Since his diagnosis he has had difficulty maintaining and finding employment because of his condition.  It is also illegal for him to drive which limits his potential for good employment and benefits. Christian has been living in anxiety and fear of having more seizures. Stress, anxiety and emotional distress has ramped up his seizure activity. More so after his half-brother tragically died and then his dad recently passed away.

He has been struggling to get care and medication that works for his condition throughout the past few years. We have struggled to find him good care because he is a young adult just getting started in the world and hasn't been able to find good employment which offers health benefits, sick leave, or social security benefits, let alone unemployment benefits. To add to his difficulties, COVID made him lose the job that would have given him these benefits. Regardless, his mother has added him to her insurance and his doctors are finally referring him to OHSU to start a health plan to get him a brain surgery to remove the tumor and hopefully reduce the seizures and the impact they are having on his life.

While we don't know the cost to Christian and his mom for his surgery and after care, we know it will be pretty hefty. He is already on medical hardships with the hospitals and ambulance rides, but Christian still needs help to pay off his medical bills, support himself through the surgery and recovery process and payoff copays and deductibles. His loving girlfriend is also helping support his living expenses while he goes through this. Without knowing the timeline yet, I expect Christian will be unable to work for the next few months while getting this care scheduled, done and recovered from.

Please, if you are able to donate funds, it is very much appreciated. Even a simple share of this fund is a help.

Help us get Christian the assistance he needs to improve his quality of life. He is so very loved!
