Help Christian with his battle with cancer

Our family is asking you to please keep my little brother, Christian Fiallos, in your prayers. He is 11 years old and was just starting 5th grade. He was recently diagnosed with leukemia. It all started with our family thinking he just had a common cold. We took him to the pediatrician two times for the same symptoms.  They advised that if his condition got worse or he had a fever, we needed to take him to the hospital.  Two days later, my brother showed symptoms of fever and body aches. His body could not tolerate any medicine and rejected it making him throw up nonstop. My parents took him to the Coral Springs Hospital where they did bloodwork. They came to find out that he had over the normal amount of white blood cells and he needed to be transferred immediately to Broward Medical Center. Once my brother was there, he then suffered from a stroke.  I was able to go visit him and all I can remember was him telling me after his MRI scan "I cannot see". He wasn't able to control his facial expressions and seeing that tore my heart. Test results came back and things got worse, they diagnosed him with leukemia. The doctors told us the stroke affected some cells in the brain.  My brother is fighting every day to be able to be the same kid he was before this happened. Doctors recommended for him to be transferred to a better hospital where he can be treated for his cancer and to have his heart and brain monitored. He is in ICU at Joe Dimaggio Children's Hospital. He had a tube to help him breathe, but because of a lot of the prayers, the doctors, and God's will he is able to breathe on his own again. He started his chemotherapy treatments.  Doctors were able to lower the white blood cells and now he is more stable.  He has therapy of about four different doctors . The leukemia has and will affect many parts of his body. 


We ask for your assistance to build a fund that will help Christian. We want to provide Christian with whatever is necessary for him to get through these difficult times.  Funds will be used to ease the enormous financial burdens of the various medical procedures and necessary equipment. Funds will also help my family pay bills piling up due to Christian needing constant care and attention.
