Help Christian's Family Celebrate His Life

Donation protected
Hello, My name is Samantha! I am sister of Christian Calderon. Christian Calderon was a "once in a lifetime love" husband, a Devoted father of a 10 y.o boy, a Respectful son, a brother that others pray&wish for, a playful uncle, a helpful cousin, a hilarious nephew, trustworthy friend, a dedicated hard worker to his job. To the the viewers reading this who have not been able to meet Christian Calderon, he was the most genuine, pure hearted, gentle soul to know. You guys definitely would have been friends because if there is one outstanding trait of Christian Calderon, it would be how he left an impact on every stranger he encountered. Leaving them with a smile followed by deep laughter that he never knew you even needed.

May 26, 2024 tradgedy struck. Moments before this nightmare started, he just got off of the phone with his wife letting her know he was on his way home after helping a brother move into their new home. When Christian did not show up in the time frame that was given, his family became anxious calling and messaging him and others to check to see if he had even left yet. In the midst of trying to contact him and others, we heard a knock at the door but didn't think anything of it because when tradgedy strikes you just never think it's for your loved ones. I open the door to three state troopers handing over Christians belongings and some paperwork with a shocking reason as to why Christian hasn't gotten home yet. Christian wouldn't be returning home that evening, he got called home to be with the Lord.

HOW- On Ladd springs road in cleveland Tn, A driver taking a left turn too soon at a two way horizontal arrow sign claims he did not see or hear Christian coming before he made the turn. The driver of the truck collided into Christian, causing severe blood loss to a main artery from the neck. It has been said that surrounding neighbors and drivers passing through hurried to Christians side (two of which happened to be registered nurses) to keep pressure on the area, give him comfort and prayed over him while waiting on proper authorities to rush him off to the hospital. I've been told that he was still breathing and his eyes were still open while they were in his presence. The troopers, nurses, doctors, paramedics and all who were there to work on my brother in his last hours did as much blood transfusions as they could. They were not giving up but had trouble finding the main artery to stop bleeding. The work they performed ended with a saddened heart to speak of, Christian Calderon heartbreakingly, went to be with the Lord.

DONATIONS- When this type of horror is heard of, it never crosses your mind that it will happen to your loved one. In this time, I ask for any donations you could send. All donations are going to Christians Wife and 10 year old son directly so that they will be able to have a proper memorial and celebration of Christian Calderons precious life. He did not have his life insurance policy set into place just yet due to switching between two jobs back to his original job with Roto Rooter. Before tradgedy hits home and the way life goes, we just assume we have time to do the things we need, want and plan for.

Where and when- Christian Calderons memorial and celebration of life will be held at Companion Funeral home in Cleveland Tn. If you knew Christian Calderon, or just feel the need to show your respects to the left behind family,

Lessons to learn- I hope that with every donation given, the Story of my brother touches each and every person. Please pass it on to someone you love and or know of whether they ride a motorcycle themselves or not. I want to Spread awareness of Motorcycle Riders with telling you this. You can be the absolute best rider, most cautious and careful rider, a respectful rider of the roads, but unfortunately other drivers on the road are not. Christian recently told me that his plans were to ride just a few more times and trade his motorcycle for a boat. Not because he did not want to ride anymore but because he knew that drivers do not respect riders at all anymore. Sadly, he never gets to do so now. With that, if you have a gut feeling and you feel like the area you are in, drivers are not being respectful when you are in their presence, dont hesitate to make a change either for yourself whether thats riding only in big groups, reaching out to city councils to make a change and fight the cause or something other than allowing bad events to reoccur. Respectfully, All vehicle drivers need to be taught about the safety and respect of all Motorcycle riders so that they can learn what to be watchful for, the correct distance between a vehicle and the motorcycle riders. If you have to make a turn, don't ever guess on whether you have time to make make that turn, wait patiently for the motorcycle driver to pass. There are many lessons to be learned here, and many thoughts to be had so please may you help spread the awareness and my words. Life will never be the same for us without Christian around, but through the awareness being spread may those who drive and ride never have to experience this heartache themselves.

NOTE: i will update the exact upcoming dates when it is set but There will be two separate Honory and benefit Motorcycle rides for Christian Calderon. If you know of a rider, groups, foundations ect. Feel absolutely free to be involved to help us send my baby brother off with one last ride. The more the better! Those who knew Christian, knew that he loved to ride and it was one of the few hobbys he felt pure joy in doing. Everything collected will be handed over in person to his Wife and his 10 year old son afterwards to help them with every expense they need as she only now has a one person income.
