Help Christina Zabel's Daughters in Grief

Paying tribute to my beautiful sister, Christina Zabel. A mother, sister, daughter and grandmother taken too soon.

Hi everyone, I'm reaching out because my Niece’s are facing a critical challenge: the loss of their mother has given them a tremendous amount of grief and now they have been burdened by the entire cost of their mom’s funeral. After reaching out to the state, the department of justice crime victims compensation claim was denied. It wasn’t what we were expecting. We are still devastated by this loss. It wasn’t a secret that my sister faced challenges, but to say her life was taken was due to her own health related issues and not the unnecessary act of violence it is so hard to face. If this heinous act of violence didn’t occur her girls would have had way more time to spend with their mother.

Though Tina may have been taken from us too soon, her spirit will forever live on in the memories we cherish and the love we shared. Growing up with Tina was an adventure filled with laughter, mischief, and unconditional love. It feels like I am losing her all over again as we tackle her end of life affairs. Her smile has impacted so many people over the years, she was always so positive even in her troubled times.

They need these funds to cover the entire funeral expense time is of the essence. Every donation, big or small, makes a difference! As a grieving sister, and Aunt I have started a funeral fundraiser to help cover the costs of my sister Christina (Tina) Zabel’s funeral expenses. Our family wasn’t prepared for the high cost of a funeral, and during this difficult time, we are reaching out to the community for help. I'm trying to alleviate this burden for her children. We are all still devastated by the loss of Tina, especially her three daughters, Tayler, Jynelle and Tessa. These funds will help cover the funeral service costs, and any other associated memorial costs.
